We try mini dark chocobon. I'm only able to give 3* for this roll. Didn't expect to have peanut butter on it. And the dark chocolate should use 60% and above. Expect to have the bitterness from the dark choc but end up it's sweet.
I’m a regular here and my favourite is the chocolate one. Generally all flavours are very sweet and it can feel abut sinful to have a full bon but they are really good that there’s always queue in front of the shop, and my friends also keep coming back. I appreciate that the staff always offer to heat up too which makes it easier for us to take back to the office. The box makes it easier to carry around so they don’t become messy before we eat them.
Lovely cinnamon roll. Every bite of the roll with cinnamon melts in your mouth. Not too sweet and importantly it was served with the right temperature. Few other selections you can choose other than the mini classic which I had. Seeing crew prepare the rolls on the site and hence it is freshly roll & bake!
If you’ve had the Cinnabon in the U.S, you’ll be sorely disappointed to know that the standards are far below what they are in America.
The Cinnabon texture was hard and the frosting and cinnamon dressing was lacking. It’s a dessert from America, and you can afford to give yourself a break from a “less sugar” option once in a while man. We suspect that the sugar content has been tweaked from the original recipe in the U.S, making the buns more stiff in the process.
Anyway. I’ll leave my Cinnabon experiences for America, and will try the Korean locations at the end of the year.
Ate the big classic in store - the bun was warm and had a strong cinnamon scent. Wish it could be less sweet/oily though, and the bread could be fluffier, but overall still a worthy indulgence for cinnamon bun fans.
Update 17 Nov: tried the mini PB chocolate one and the bread was fluffier today. The pb version is less sweet (but still sweet) and I love it too!
Not really a fan of cinnamon, but this Cinnabon is really good.
The cinnamon taste is unlike the powders that some cafe uses. It is not that choking, but yet still has very strong aroma. It goes very well with the sugar level.
The sugar coating on top not that sweet on the mini bun, but a little too sweet for the twist.
Very orderly as there is people at the entrance guiding for entrance
Tasted better cinnamon rolls but again, up to individual’s preferences. The bun was a bit hard, maybe should ask to warm it up a little bit more. The cinnamon sticks actually taste better. Will come back when craving hits!
Not a fan of cinnamon but wanted to try after watching Better Call Saul. I chose their mini classic. The flavour is really out of the world. Limited seats so try to avoid rush hour if you want to dine in.
